Chinese Jade (Crassula ovata) Bonsai Tree Type (Indoors) Chinese Jade (Crassula OVATA) -

Also known as Jade or Money tree. Succulent plant, originating from South Africa, with rounded to pear-SHAPEd grey/green LEAVES which soMEtimes are edged with a red tinge.

STYLE : Best suited to informal upright or CLUMP.

WARNING : If leaves begin to wrinkle then soil is too dry.

Chinese Jade (Crassula OVATA) -

REPOT : Every 2 years in spring, when young and when ROOTS fill pot as the plant grows older.

SOIL : Fine GRIT is best, although LOAM based mixes can be used but require less water.

PRUNE : Any tiME while in active growth.

PINCH: Pinch growing tips to maintain SHAPE.

WATER : Almost dry in winter and only water when almost dry in summer.

FEED : Half strength BALANCED FEED during growing season.

WARNING : If LEAVES begin to wrinkle then soil is too dry.
